Bacary Sagna is unsure whether he will still be at Manchester City next season and has revealed the club is yet to open talks with him over a contract extension.
The 33-year-old right-back, who joined City from Arsenal in June 2014, has just over seven months remaining on his current contract and would be free to leave the Etihad in the summer.
He has featured nine times this season under Pep Guardiola, starting City's last two Premier League victories over Crystal Palace and Burnley.
"My contract expires at the end of the season," Sagna told beIN Sports. "I am not thinking about it, though. I just take things as they come and try to give my all.
"There have been no negotiations as of yet, so I do not know what will happen."
Sagna has recently been linked with a return to France, with reports suggesting Ligue 1 giants Marseille are interested in bringing him to the Stade Velodrome.
American businessman Frank McCourt, the former owner of Major League Baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers, recently completed his takeover of Marseille and expressed his intention to invest £180m into the club over the next four years.
But Sagna is not convinced that a move to Marseille would be the best option for him as he approaches the twilight years of his career.
"Marseille are a club that I like a lot, a club that is part of the history of French football," the France international added.
"But I do not know whether I want to be under so much pressure at the age of 34. I need some calm around me and I am not sure Marseille are a stable club right now."
