The Milan coach has omitted all his first-team regulars from the trip to Piacenza to ensure he has a fully fit squad to choose from for Wednesday's tussle with their Italian rivals.
Though the likes of Fernando Redondo, Thomas Helveg and Ibrahim Ba will lend experience to the team, there will be several youngsters on parade for Milan.
Despite resting all his key players, Ancelotti insists he is treating the tussle with Piacenza seriously but merely wants to avoid wrecking his Champions League plans.
"The players who will probably play in Manchester will work at our headquarters on Saturday," affirmed Ancelotti.
"In Piacenza, a few players of the youth team will play. Anyway, Piacenza-Milan is an official match and it will have to be played in a good way because everything is possible, such as Inter will lose and Milan will win (such an outcome will give Milan second spot)."
Ahead of the jaunt to Old Trafford, Ancelotti issued a bulletin on the fitness of Paolo Maldini and Brazilian duo Dida and Serginho, who are aiming to line up against Juve.
He added: "As for Manchester, Paolo Maldini isn't completely fit due to a muscular tiredness whilst Serginho is having personal training just as a precaution.
"Dida? He's having regular training but he hasn't done important things yet. But he could recover for Manchester.
"Let's hope he could be able to do this, then we'll see. Anyway, Abbiati has shown to be in good form and to be motivated.
"I want to make it clear that if Dida will be fit, he'll play."
