The Nigerian midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and Sochaux are keen to retain Oruma's services.
Rival French clubs Marseille and Monaco have been linked with bids for Oruma, but the 28-year-old is adamant he has received no other offers.
Instead, Oruma is willing to prolong his three-year association with Sochaux, if he can reach a satisfactory deal with the Ligue 1 club.
"It is not the right moment to talk about my desire to stay at Sochaux," Oruma told But!
"We will see at the end of Le Championnat. The rumours are stupid!
"Nothing has been settled with Monaco, Marseille or any other club.
"To tell you the truth, I am in talks with Sochaux. We have not found an agreement yet, but I am continuing negotiations with FCSM.
"The officials have proposed me an amount, but I want another one. It is usual talks.
"People transfer me everywhere, but I am still a Sochaux player. And if we can find an agreement, I can very well stay here next season."
