Reports in France suggest that the Rennes midfielder has agreed a four year deal with Didier Deschamps' side.
The 25-year-old had been attracting interest from both Monaco and St Etienne due to his impressive performances this term, and now appears to have settled on a move to the Principality.
Deschamps could also reinforce his squad with the Bosman signing of Souchaux playmaker Wilson Oruma.
The 28-year-old Lionceaux star also sees his current deal expire at the end of the season, but is currently still only in negotiations with Monaco.
