Rennes defender Abdeslam Ouaddou has reportedly been lined up by Olympiakos.
Rennes defender Abdeslam Ouaddou has reportedly been lined up by Greek outfit Olympiakos.
The Morocco international announced during the African Cup of Nations that he was looking to leave Rennes, sparking speculation about his future.
He was keen to leave in the January transfer window but has been made to wait until the summer, although he has remained a major part of Rennes' European push in the meantime.
The 27-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and the club now have no other option but to release him.
Olympiakos, who have won the Greek league this season, are keen to bolster their ranks ahead of next term's UEFA Champions League campaign.
They are believed to be very close to swooping for Ouaddou, who played for Fulham before joining Rennes.
