Sochaux manager Guy Lacombe is unhappy with club officials.Sochaux manager Guy Lacombe has revealed his displeasure at his club's preparations for the current Ligue 1 season.
The Stade Bonal club have taken just four points from their first four matches in Le Championnat after seeing a number of high-profile player departures take place over the summer.
Last season's French League Cup winners saw Benoit Pedretti head for Marseille and Pierre-Alain Frau move to champions Lyon, with many in France suggesting the club would have a more difficult campaign this term.
Reports in France now suggest Lacombe's relationship with Sochaux chairman Jean-Claude Plessis and sport director Bernard Genghini has deteriorated after this summer's comings and goings.
Lacombe criticised Plessis for not informing him about captain Maxence Flachez's move to Guingamp and revealed his upset over the late summer arrivals of Brazilian striker Ilan and midfielder Romain Pitau.
"I am not looking for controversy. The team was not lucky, but you can explain that," Lacombe told L'Equipe.
"Which coach can be happy to lose his captain, one of the most experienced players (Flachez), without being informed by his chairman after one day into Le Championnat?
"Which coach can be happy with the late arrival of two new signings (Ilan and Pitau), forcing him to start a part of the preparations again in the middle of August?
"When you know from the start of the year Pierre-Alain Frau will leave, it is difficult to see his replacement arrive after three days into Le Championnat.
"I believe in the team, but I think the situation is more complex considering the circumstances and the loss of players like Benoit Pedretti and Pierre-Alain Frau."
Two recent defeats to Auxerre and Bordeaux have not helped the current situation at the club, with Lacombe's future having been in doubt for some time.
It remains to be seen if the Sochaux boss will see out the remaining season of his contract.
