Lille have added a brace of Switzerland internationals to their squad.

Lille have added a brace of Switzerland internationals to their squad ahead of next season's UEFA Champions League challenge.

Following the club's surprise second place finish in Ligue 1, Lille are anxious to add depth to their squad for the task of tackling Europe's elite.

Coach Claude Puel has made the opening moves in that objective by signing Daniel Gygax and Stephan Lichtsteiner (pictured).

Gygax has arrived at Lille from FC Zurich, with the attacker penning a three-year contract.

Promising defender Lichtsteiner has inked a four-year deal with the Northern French club after opting to leave Grasshopper Zurich.

A fee has not been disclosed but previous reports suggested that Grasshopper were looking for in the region of ‚é¼350,000 for the 21-year-old.
