Gradel, who came close to joining West Ham United during the January transfer window, has been a key component for Les Verts with the team riding high in fourth spot in the Ligue 1 table.
The former Leeds player is also a regular for Ivory Coast and he was on target for The Elephants in their recent 2-2 draw with Belgium, who are highly fancied ahead of this summer's tournament in Brazil.
The 26-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard and they may look to cash in on their prized asset this summer rather than lose him for free in a year's time.
Key component
"Max has been a key player for St Etienne this season so it's only natural clubs from elsewhere have been paying attention," UK-based agent Tra Desmond told Sky Sports.
"Max is fond of his time in England and would be open to playing in the Premier League if the chance arose. He impressed during his time at Leeds and the style of play in the country suits his game.
"Max is now an established member of the Ivory Coast national side and is looking forward to helping the nation impress at this summer's World Cup in Brazil after helping St Etienne secure European football for next season."
