Paris Saint-Germain claimed a share of second place in Ligue 1 with a 2-1 win at Nancy.

Early goals from Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani appeared to set the champions on their way to a comfortable victory but they had to withstand a second-half fightback from Nancy.

Alou Diarra pulled one back for the hosts in the 55th minute and the result was in the balance as full-time approached.

But PSG saw out the closing stages to secure the win that moved them level on points with Monaco, who suffered a 3-1 defeat at Toulouse on Friday night.

Casimir Ninga continued his hot streak with a brace as 10-man Montpellier held on for a 3-2 win against Caen.

Ninga, who scored a hat-trick at Dijon in his last match, opened the scoring after just three minutes and then netted what proved to be the winner in the 77th minute after Steve Mounie - the scorer of Montpellier's other goal - had been sent off.
