Ligue 1 round-up: Ten-man Monaco beat Nice

Monaco beat Nice 1-0, despite going down to 10 men during the Ligue 1 clash on Saturday.

Nabil Dirar was dismissed early in the second half in a game that also saw 10 yellow cards handed out, but Tiemoue Bakayoko fired in an 81st-minute winner for the home side.

The result keeps Monaco in second, but they remain 21 points behind Paris Saint-Germain, who travel to Marseille on Sunday.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Lyon thrashed 10-man Angers 3-0 with goals from Christophe Jallet, Rachid Ghazzel and Corentin Tolisso, while the home side saw Thomas Mangani sent off in the first half.

Floyd Ayite scored twice as Bastia beat Troyes 2-0 in a game that saw three red cards. Ayite netted the first after 10 minutes before Bastia saw Jean-Louis Leca dismissed.

Brayan Perea and Fabien Camus then both got sent off for Troyes before Ayite added a late penalty.

Ten-man Lorient nicked a 1-1 draw at home to Montpellier, who took the lead through Kevin Berigaud after Francois Bellugou had been sent off before Jimmy Cabot netted an equaliser.
