Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe insists he will not be "forced" to go anywhere this summer and his priority is to play regular football.

The 18-year-old was named Ligue 1's Young Player of the Year after scoring 15 goals to help Monaco win the title.

His form has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal.

But he told beIN SPORTS: "I will make a choice based on my sporting career, and my career is first and foremost. I am at an age where I need to play, and that will be paramount.

"I'm not 35 or 36, an age where I have to manage [my body]. I still have everything to learn - this year was discovery, and now comes the most important step: confirmation.

As well as scoring 26 goals in all competitions for Monaco, Mbappe earned his first France call-up in March.

Asked if the 2018 World Cup will impact any potential move, he said: "It will not matter. The pressure... I always had it, I learned to handle it, I got used to it and it's part of my environment.

"It doesn't disrupt me, or my family, or the club."

Reflecting on his brilliant season, he said: "In football, everything is possible from the moment you work and you believe in your qualities.

"I always believed in myself. It wasn't enough to want to - you have to give yourself the means [to succeed]. I didn't know it was going to happen so fast, but I knew I wanted to do it."
