SIMONE SET FOR MILAN RETURN

UNSETTLED Monaco striker Marco Simone could be set for a return to former club AC Milan.

The Italian star has fallen out of favour at The Principality and he does not figure in Didier Deschamps plans.

The 32-year-old is expected not to be involved for Monaco in Sunday's game at Bordeaux and he is set to move to the Giuseppe Meazza if both clubs can reach agreement over the deal.

The only problem is that Milan do not want to pay any money for Simone having spent heavily in the transfer market during the summer.

Milan are keen to do a deal but only if involves a player swap and they are thought to have offered Argentine defender Jose Antonio Chamot and Christian Brocchi to grab Simone.

Monaco chairman Jean Louis Campora is thought to be keen to keep Simone at the club, but it seems that the player is determined to leave and Deschamps will not stand in his way.
