Auxerre won le Championnat tussle 2-1, courtesy of Arnaud Gonzalez's 77th-minute strike but his goal provoked an outcry from the visitors.
Les Canaries, who were already down to ten men following the sending off of Mario Yepes, had kicked the ball out of play after defender Frederic Da Rocha suffered a head injury.
But rather than sportingly throw the ball back to Nantes, Auxerre boss Roux urged his players to continue and they proceeded to score the winner.
Landreau compared the situation to an FA Cup meeting between Arsenal and Sheffield United in 1999 when The Gunners scored a disputed winner in similar circumstances.
On that occasion Arsene Wenger offered to replay the tie but Landreau was scathing of Roux and insisted he could not be compared to the Arsenal chief.
"It is enormous and scandalous," said Landreau. "Roux is not Wenger.
"He has nothing to compare him with a gentleman or lord. Moreover, he spends most of his time giving lessons to everyone."
Roux's opposite number in the dugout Angel Marcos was equally bitter at Roux's actions.
Marcos added: "Blood was gushing from his (Da Rocha's) head so don't tell me that Guy Roux, who was five metres away, didn't see anything."
The injured party Da Rocha believes Jean-Sebastien Jaures, who threw the ball back in play, was too frightened to ignore his manager's request.
Da Rocha said: "When I came back onto the pitch, the referee told me: 'It is appalling but I can't do anything.'
"Jean-Sebastien Jaures was afraid of Roux, for his place or whatever, but when Roux comes back to Nantes, we promise him a good surprise."
Monaco coach Didier Deschamps admitted he suffered a similar fate earlier this season and believes people should stop painting a certain picture of Roux.
Deschamps said: "You must stop seeing Roux as a good farmer who made miracles at a little club. He is one of the richest and most influential men in French football.
"That day I felt a kind of arrogance in his team. They have talent, are strong and they deserve what they are living but sometimes they have annoying behaviour. But when you are governed by fear..."
