French side Monaco are keen to follow up the signing of Mohamed Kallon by bringing in another attacker.
With the likes of Ludovic Giuly, Jerome Rothen and Dado Prso leaving Stade Louis II, coach Didier Deschamps is keen to bolster his depleted attack.
Kallon arrived from Internazionale for é¼4.7 million, but Deschamps still wants more attackers.
Monaco official Richard Conte says that another forward-thinking player is expected to arrive at the club soon.
"Following Didier Deschamps' wishes, another player is expected," said Conte.
"It will be an attacking player."
There are a host of names in the frame for Monaco, with the likes of Andres D'Alessandro, Juan Roman Riquelme and Emre all being mentioned.
Although a playmaker has been targeted, Monaco have also still not given up hope of landing Fernando Morientes from Real Madrid on a permanent basis.
