Deportivo are reported to be keen on signing unsettled Juventus star Olivier Kapo.Deportivo La Coruna are reported to be keen on signing unsettled Juventus star Olivier Kapo.
The Frenchman is currently on a season-long loan at Monaco after failing to make much impression at the Stadio delle Alpi.
However, having been taken to the Stade Louis II by the now departed Didier Deschamps, Kapo has failed to impress his successor Francesco Guidolin.
The Italian coach is prepared to cut short Kapo's loan stay sparking interest from a host of European sides.
The 25-year-old was courted by Valencia, Real Betis and Newcastle last summer before plumping for Monaco and is still coveted by a number of teams.
Depor are understood to have proposed a loan move with an option of a permanent transfer at the end of the season, but Juventus' Serie A rivals Messina are thought to be in pole position for the former Auxerre star.
Depor boss Joaquin Caparros is keen to strengthen and, with Victor seemingly on his way to Liverpool, will be eager to try and bring in at least one new attacking face before the window closes next week.
Meanwhile, Monaco are bidding to try and prise defender Alvaro Mejia from Real Madrid on loan.
Guidolin wants to bolster his backline and sees the 24-year-old, a long-term target for the French outfit, as the ideal candidate.
However, Mejia has started the last two games for Real, both of which they have won, and the Primera titans might not fancy letting him go out for the remainder of the campaign.
