Eugen Polanski has ruled out a move away from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Germany Under-21 international Eugen Polanski has ruled out a move away from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer.
He has emerged as a transfer target for French outfit Monaco, but Polanski has pledged his future to his current club.
Ç£I feel honoured by their interest, but I will stay on with Borussia,Ç¥ declared the 20-year-old midfielder, who was one of the Bundesliga's shooting-stars last season.
Polanski is a product of the Foals' famous youth department and sealed his breakthrough into professional football under former coach Horst Koppel.
The youngster is believed to be one of the cornerstones in the plans of new boss Jupp Heynckes, who hailed Polanski for his talent and attitude.
Ç£Eugen is a versatile player and can star almost everywhere," said Heynckes.
"He's a real good lad, who is always willing to give 100 percent. This is the material good players are made of.Ç¥
Heynckes is hoping to lift the former Uefa Cup winners back into European football next season and will be buoyed by Polanski's declaration.
