Mohamed Kallon has belatedly returned to training with Monaco.
Mohamed Kallon has belatedly returned to training with Monaco as fellow striker Javier Chevanton finalises his move to Sevilla.
Sierra Leone international Kallon is battling for his future at Stade Louis II after failing to report for the initial roll-call several weeks ago.
The forward has missed Monaco's pre-season campaign and the club suspended the 26-year-old's contract.
But he has now grasped a lifeline in the Principality after turning up for training on Tuesday, ahead of the new season.
Kallon, who spent last term on loan at Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, is unlikely to figure in this weekend's season opener against Nancy.
Another absence for Monaco on Saturday will be Jeremy Menez, who faces a few weeks on the sidelines after spraining an ankle.
