Porto have reacquired almost a quarter of the economic rights of reported Chelsea target Joao Moutinho for a fee of €4million (£3.5m).
The Portuguese club announced the deal in a statement on their official website and they now own 85% of the midfielder.
Europa League holders Porto had sold 37.5% of Moutinho's rights to an investment fund for around £3.6m in October 2010.
But the 24-year-old continues to be linked to Chelsea and boss Andre Villas-Boas is thought to want to take his former Porto colleague to Stamford Bridge.
It has been speculated that Moutinho would represent a replacement for Michael Essien, who has been ruled out for six months due to a knee injury.
