Belgium international Luigi Pieroni has revealed that he will take stock of his situation in January.
The striker has slipped down the pecking order at Auxerre, as coach Jean Fernandez has opted to field Ireneusz Jelen in attack, and Pieroni admits he is frustrated by his situation at AJA.
Pieroni is prepared to bide his time, but suggests he will look to move on in January if his situation has not improved.
"It is not easy to experience [being on the bench], but I have to be calm," he told But!
"Like for the team, it is not a good moment for me. I play less, but for the moment it is not a big problem for me.
"Competition must make me progress."
Pieroni, who attracted interest from Everton in the summer, added: "I will see in January, but I feel good at Auxerre."
Auxerre have made a poor start to the season and the loss to injury of Danish star Thomas Kahlenburg has not improved morale.
The midfielder is set to be in plaster for a fortnight and could be out of action until January.
