The pitch was forwarded as the major reason as to why the Spanish youngsters could not beat the European minnows of Andorra in their last game and they will be given a chance to redeem themselves against the Dutch.
Coached by Inaki Saez, the Basque is looking for a settled squad for September when the qualification for the 2004 European Championships kicks off.
Saez admitted: "Our objective is to prepare a team for the coming season. we are looking at players to see what chances they have of playing in the next European Championships."
The Under-21s failed to qualify for the final phase of this year's European Championships that will be played in Switzerland and Saez added: "I need to make a team, because to reach the finals they need to work in conjunction."
Saez has called up 18 players to the squad, including Jose Reina of Barcelona, Las Palmas' Jorge, Dani at Betis, Real Sociedad's Xabi Alonso and the subject of much transfer speculation - Mikel Arteta. The Real Madrid trio of Oscar Minambres, Raul Bravo and Ruben all have Champions League experience, but there is no place for the prolific Javier Portillo or Sevilla's much heralded Jose Antonio Reyes, who suffered a knee injury in the derby game with Real Betis on Saturday.
