PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic has targeted the Nantes man as one of the players he wants to reinforce the left-hand side of his team, along with Boudewijn Zenden, but Armand is not jumping at the chance to complete a move to Parc Des Princes.
He said: "Like Nantes, PSG doesn't play in European Cup, and on a sporting level they seem to be in a more difficult situation.
"Wages are important, but perhaps is it better to stay in a club where you have fun while having a little smaller wages, rather than leaving to earn more, but take the risk of finding a less exciting sporting challenge.
"If I leave Nantes I would prefer to leave for a foreign club.
"But I am in no hurry, I feel at ease here."
The final decision may not rest with Armand, as Nantes chairman Jean-Luc Gripond said: "Nantes does not have a lot of time. PSG must make an acceptable proposition both for us and the player.
"We don`t want to lose Sylvain, but if there is a good proposition..."
