France international Mickael Landreau has emerged as a summer target for PSG.France international goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has emerged as a summer target for Paris Saint Germain.
The Nantes shot-stopper is being eyed by the capital club due to concerns about the future of current PSG number one Lionel Letizi (pictured).
Letizi is enjoying a sparkling season at Parc des Princes but his contract expires at the end of the season.
He has been linked to Spanish side Espanyol and, up to now, has refused to prolong his stay with PSG as he is seeking guarantees he will remain first choice.
With that in mind, PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic is weighing up alternatives to Letizi, with Landreau believed to be at the top of his list.
Landreau has spent his entire career at Nantes and has made in the region of 300 appearances for the club, despite being only 25-years-old.
He is contracted to Nantes until 2006 but has a clause in a deal which enables him to leave Les Canaris for é¼6 million.
That figure would be within PSG's reach at the end of the season should they need to bring in a replacement for Letizi.
In addition, Nantes may opt to accept such an offer, if Landreau shows no inclination to pen a new contract at La Beaujoire-Louis-Fonteneau.
