Palermo striker Andrea Caracciolo has confirmed that PSG are interested in signing him.
Palermo's Andrea Caracciolo has admitted that a number of big clubs are interested in signing him.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a highly successful first season in Serie A last year, netting nine times in a highly impressive campaign for Palermo.
Despite only bagging one goal for his side in this campaign, Caracciolo is regarded as being one of Italy's brightest talents, and the striker stated that he has heard of interest from French side Paris Saint Germain.
"My agent told me about PSG interest," he said.
"I am both proud and interested. If I receive an offer, I will be very sensitive to it, but I won't hide that I prefer to go on my Serie A adventure."
Meanwhile, PSG winger Jerome Rothen is set to leave the club during the January transfer window.
Rothen moved from Monaco two years ago, but has failed to impress coaches and fans since the transfer.
Despite the inevitable departure, club chairman Alain Cayzac has said that he is not prepared for the player to go for cheap.
Rothen signed for the Ligue 1 outfit for é¼11million (£7.4million) in 2004.
