Paris St Germain look set to beat Manchester City to the signing of Pescara playmaker Marco Verratti. The 19-year-old's agent confirmed he will complete a deal worth €14million to the Ligue 1 outfit next week. Verratti, an Italy Under 21 international, was instrumental for Pescara as they claimed promotion to Serie A last season. "Verratti's intention is to say yes to PSG," Donato Di Campli told www.tuttomercatoweb.com. "He should sign his contract either at the start of next week or at the end of this week." Verratti has made 74 appearances for Pescara since making his debut with the Italian outfit at the age of 16 and is also a reported target of Juventus and Napoli. Verratti is under contract with Pescara until June 2016 and is set to sign a five-year deal with the Parisian giants.
