Highly-rated teenage full-back Lucas Digne has penned a new contract at Lille, keeping him at the club until 2017.

Strength

Lille coach Rudi Garcia is delighted to see Digne commit himself to the club, and has rubbished rumours suggesting he could make a move for Paris St Germain striker Kevin Gameiro in January. On Digne, he said: "His biggest strength is his maturity at such a young age, which reminds me of Eden Hazard. He is a boy with no fear. "The most important thing at Lille is economic stability, as it is at any club. If the club has to sell, we will resign ourselves to losing a player with a high value. "Lucas is not alone in that position. There is no trouble there." On Gameiro, he added: "I don't think it would be possible on an economic level. "I can't see how we could get a player that would cost so much money."
