PSG extended their lead to 13 points at the top of Ligue 1 after winning 2-1 away at Lorient on Saturday.

The French champions and capital club, playing for the first time since the terror attacks in Paris, took advantage of second-place Lyon's 3-0 defeat at Nice on Friday.

Hervin Ongenda and Blaise Matuidi struck in the first-half for PSG, before Benjamin Moukandjo got an 82nd-minute consolation for Lorient.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Monaco climbed to fifth after beating Nantes 1-0 at home, with Mario Pasalic netting just before half-time, and Guingamp climbed into the top half with a 2-0 victory over Toulouse.

Jimmy Briand missed a penalty for the home side before half-time, but Sloan Privat and Yannis Salibur struck after the break.

Toulouse then saw Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik sent off late on.

Montpellier moved away from the relegation zone with a 3-1 win over Reims. The away side took the lead after 12 minutes through Anthony Weber, but Mustapha Yatabara struck back just nine minutes later.

Souleymane Camara then put Montpellier in front with 20 minutes to go before Bryan Dabo sealed the result in the closing stages.

And Troyes remained adrift at the bottom of the table despite picking up a point at fellow strugglers Lille.

Yassine Benzia put Lille ahead after nine minutes, but Corentin Jean equalised for Troyes with 20 minutes to go.

Caen host Angers, Ajaccio travel to Bastia, Rennes play Bordeaux and Marseille visit Saint-Etienne in the remaining fixtures on Sunday.
