Ospina commits to 2013 with 12-month extension

Highly-rated goalkeeper David Ospina has pledged his future to Nice by signing a contract extension to stay until 2013. The Colombia international has gone from strength to strength since joining Nice in 2008 and is reportedly being tracked by several clubs. Paris St Germain have been linked with a bid for the 22-year-old, who recently acknowledged he would like to play for the club at some point in the future. However, general manager Patrick Governatori insisted it would take a big offer to persuade Nice to sell and the club have now added a 12-month extension to Ospina's contract. Nice's decision to tie down Ospina follows on from the deal that has been agreed to sign Peru international keeper Raul Fernandez to replace the retiring Lionel Letizi.
