Leeds United snapped up Sakho (pictured) on a season-long loan from Marseille but Bastia were also in the hunt for the livewire forward.
The Corsican outfit have now turned their attentions elsewhere for attacking reinforcements and appear to have narrowed their options to Ahamada and Mansare.
Nantes striker Ahamada spent last season on loan with Bastia but missed the second half of the campaign with a knee injury.
The 22-year-old has fully recovered from the setback and Bastia are weighing up the possibility of taking the winger on loan again.
Bastia coach Gerard Gili is also keen on Montpellier's Mansare, who has scored once in two appearances in Le Championnat this season.
The stumbling block to a move for the 21-year-old is that Bastia want a loan arrangement while Montpellier chairman Loulou Nicollin prefers a permanent deal.
