The 24-year-old went under the knife earlier this month and now he is hoping for a return in November.
"I was operated on October 13. I spent the whole week with ice on my knee in my parent's house," he said.
"I didn't have time to be bored as there are always a lot of people around.
"Now I would like to be ready for November 8 for the match against PSG."
On his future, Landreau confirmed he could leave Nantes this summer, but only for a big club.
"I am a 24-year-old and at the end of the season I could probably have 250 matches in Le Championnat," he said.
"On a sporting level, if I am not sure to find a better than Nantes, why should I leave?"
