Rudi Roussillon has promised a summer shake-up of underachieving Nantes.
Nantes president Rudi Roussillon has refused to rule out a move for coach Vahid Halilhodzic as he seeks to strengthen his side for a renewed challenge next season.
Coach Serge Le Dizet is reported to be on borrowed time with the club languishing in 14th place in Ligue 1 and Halilhodzic, who is currently in charge of Turkish side Trabzonspor, has been linked with a return to the club he used to play for.
Nantes are rumoured to have been in contact with the former Paris Saint Germain coach. However, significant changes to the playing squad are almost certain regardless of who is coach next season.
"We will build a very good team that will fight for the first six places of the championship," Roussillon told L'Est-Republicain.
Les Canaris already appear resigned to losing goalkeeper Mickael Landreau and Jeremy Toulalan, with Paris Saint Germain and Lyon, respectively, monitoring the influential pair.
Roussillon's desire to rebuild the team could see a number of new faces arriving at La Beaujoire-Louis-Fonteneau and Alioum Saidou has already attracted interest with the Galatasaray player having affirmed his desire to move to France.
