Paris St Germain boosted their European hopes with a 2-0 victory at home to Caen, while Rennes and Toulouse drew 0-0.
Rennes suffered only their second defeat of the Ligue 1 season last time out and they were unable to return to winning ways against
Toulouse.
The sides started the day in fourth and fifth but drop a place each following the stalemate, with
Paris St Germain jumping up to third.
Caen, without a win in their last five games, held PSG in the first half of their encounter at Parc des Princes.
