Alvaro Morata will rejoin Real Madrid this summer, according to Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta.
The striker ended a six-year spell with Real in 2014 to join Juventus, but Los Blancos have an option to buy back the Spain international for a fee rumoured to be 30m euros.
It is unclear whether Morata is wanted by the Champions League winners for next season or if he will then be sold on for a profit, with a number of English clubs reported to be interested.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the striker, and the Gunners, along with Tottenham, tried to sign him when he joined Juve two years ago.
"Real Madrid will exercise their right to repurchase," Marotta said in quotes on Marca.
"We expect their offer in writing in the coming day, then we'll see, but the number of possibilities that remain are few, and we will try to replace him with an equally-good player."
Morata, 23, has started both of Spain's matches at Euro 2016 so far and scored twice in Friday's 3-0 win against Turkey.
