Real Madrid's jubilant players took to the streets to celebrate a 33rd La Liga title with their fans on Sunday.

It was their first league trophy in five years and after a 2-0 win at Malaga, the Real stars headed back to the Spanish capital for a huge party.

Thousands of fans turned up to see manager Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates arriving at Plaza de Cibeles on a special bus with '33 Champions' on the side.

"We deserve it," said Ronaldo, who bagged an early opener in their last match. "This success tastes really good, and even sweeter to do it in the last week of the season."

Real finished the campaign three points ahead of Barcelona, whose 4-2 win against Eibar was not enough for them to catch their El Clasico rivals.
