Sergio Ramos attracted the ire of Lionel Messi during Real Madrid’s Spanish Super Cup victory over Barcelona on Wednesday night.
Marco Asensio's spectacular strike put Zinedine Zidane's side ahead after just four minutes and Karim Benzema's low finish completed the scoring.
Midway through the second half, Real captain Ramos flicked the ball away from Messi during a break in play, leading the pair to exchange words.
The two players clashed in La Liga action last season when Ramos received a red card and subsequent one-match ban for a two-footed tackle on Messi at the Bernabeu.
Messi went on to score the winning goal in a dramatic 3-2 win for the Catalans.
