Hoeness warns Real president that French ace is not for sale

Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness insists the club will not hold talks with Real Madrid over the sale of Franck Ribery. New Real president Florentino Perez has expressed an interest in signing Ribery, along with AC Milan playmaker Kaka and Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo. Perez claimed he was going to meet with Hoeness and Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to discuss a possible deal for Ribery. However, Hoeness has moved quickly to thwart Perez's intentions by insisting Bayern do not want to negotiate Ribery's departure. Hoeness also reiterated the club's view that the France international will not be leaving the Allianz Arena after the schemer was also linked with Chelsea. "We are not in talks and we will not head into talks," Hoeness told German newspaper Abendzeitung. "We are not going to let him leave, he is under contract with us. "Louis van Gaal absolutely wants him to remain at our club. He is a key part of our future ambitions."
