Uruguayan to move to on four-year contract after impressing on loan
Sevilla are signing Martin Caceres from Barcelona on a four-year contract after the Uruguayan impressed while on loan.
The defender spent the past season with the Copa del Rey semi-finalists after helping his country to fourth place at the 2010 World Cup.
Caceres met expectations at Sevilla and the Primera Liga club now want to exercise the to-buy option which was included in his loan from Barcelona.
New European champions Barcelona bought the 24-year-old from Villarreal for €16.5 million (£14m) in 2008.
But he struggled to make the first team and after a loan spell with Juventus in the 2009/10 campaign, he moved to Sevilla.
Caceres made 25 Primera Liga appearances for Sevilla, who will play in the Europa League next season after finishing fifth.
