Barcelona have confirmed Alexander Hleb has joined Bundesliga side Wolfsburg on loan.
The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Camp Nou as coach Pep Guardiola has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal.
Hleb has spent the last two seasons out on loan following his transfer from Arsenal, firstly with Stuttgart and latterly with Birmingham last season.
However, the Belarus midfielder will again have to leave the European and La Liga champions in order to gain regular football.
He is presently recovering from a knee injury and hopes he will be able to prove his fitness in Germany, as he has just one more year left on his Barca contract.
