Atletico Madrid will not part with Radamel Falcao in January, but have hinted that they could be persuaded to cash-in on the highly-rated striker next summer.
Real Madrid are also said to be keen on raiding their cross-city neighbours for Falcao's services, but Marin doubts such a switch would be made. "If Atletico do not qualify for the Champions League or cannot afford to meet his wage demands then I do not think that Real Madrid could afford him either," he continued. "We have to do impossible things and take risks so that the fans can have the team that they want. It is difficult to maintain."
