Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all still in the running to win La Liga – and we will be showing highlights from each of their weekend games on Monday night.
You will see all the goals and drama from Atleti’s trip to Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona’s short trek to Catalan rivals Espanyol, and Real’s home game with struggling Vallecano on Sky Sports Xtra.
That action will complement the live La Liga offering between two teams promoted to the top flight last season: Villarreal and Elche.
The Yellow Submarine are in the midst of a dodgy spell – they have won just once, at Espanyol, in their last seven – but a seventh-placed spot in the table shows how well Marcelino García Toral’s men have acclimatised to life back in the big league.
Elche, meanwhile, are just three points clear of the drop zone after a solitary win in eight and a run of three matches without a goal, so will their trials abate on Monday against a club they pipped to the Segunda Division crow last term?
