Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo tops Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings

Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings for a second week running.

Ronaldo netted his eighth goal in five league games during a 5-3 win at Real Betis - having only scored four goals from his first 14 games this campaign.

Team-mate Lucas Vazquez assisted two goals to enter the top 10, staking his claim for a regular starting place in Zinedine Zidane's resurgent side, while Toni Kroos slipped to No 5 after missing Sunday's game through injury.

Getafe forward Angel Rodriguez soared into the runner-up spot with two goals and an assist during a 3-0 win against Celta Vigo - doubling his La Liga tally from the previous month.

Real Sociedad midfielder Asier Illarramendi maintained his fine form during a 3-0 victory over Levante to hold No 3 spot in the chart, with substitute Sergio Canales climbing 29 places to No 8 after netting Sociedad's third.

Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann retained his place among the top performers, assisting Kevin Gameiro's opener during a 2-0 win against Athletic Bilbao.

Elsewhere, Alaves forward Munir El Haddadi netted the match-winner against Deportivo to claim No 6 spot and Espanyol's Gerard Moreno slipped two places to land No 7 in the chart after a 1-1 draw with Villarreal.
