Fabio Rochemback and Geovanni were both a day late in returning to the club and Sergi believes their actions were disrespectful.
He said: "We will have to listen to their versions but the truth is that they are not here. From December 23 to January 1, there is enough time to buy the tickets.
"I think that it is a lack of respect to me and their team-mates. They are young players. They should feel like training with the team.
"They are giving an awful image that damages the club. The rest sweat and make the effort because we are in a delicate situation at the moment, yet we have people who haven't turned up."
Sergi was not critical of Rivaldo because the samba star had been given permission by the club to return to training a day late.
However, former Barcelona coach Johan Cruyff believes the number ten should be setting the example to the rest of his team-mates.
Cruyff said: "The key player must be the first one in arriving back. If you give the star a fortnight's holiday, then things are not going properly.
"What has happened with Rochemback and Geovanni is an example of what is happening at the club. It is stupid that such young players make the decision to arrive late.
"But what do you expect if the first one you let come back late is the star? It must always be the same, that the star is the first one to arrive, even if he is injured and can't play."
The Dutch maestro concurred with Sergi's view of the situation and believes there should not be one rule for some and a different rule for others.
"What is happening on the field is a reflection of what is happening at the club," said Cruyff. "I agree with Sergi for criticising his team-mates.
"Rivaldo doesn't come to the first training session of the year. If one has permission, everyone does. If you give holidays to one, you give them to everyone."
