The players in question, Mario and Luis Garcia both belong to Valladolid but Barca and Bilbao both have repurchase options for the duo, the former a forward, the latter a defender.
With the best record in Spain in 2002, Valladolid have climbed to ninth in the table and look certain to avoid the relegation battle and could find themselves in the mix for a European place.
In the case of Luis Garcia, Barca would have to pay around £1 million to recover the player, whilst Bilbao would have to fork out £1.5 million for Mario.
However, Valladolid president Carlos Suarez seems unconcerned, saying: "Yes, Barcelona or Athletic could decide to repurchase Luis or Mario and we cannot do anything.
"We want them to remain and we trust that they will, but if they do not do, it will be in exchange for money that is important and will also help us.
"Santiago Llorente (the technical secretary) is working to prepare the team for next season. We would like to continue counting on Fernando and Tote (pictured). We are going to speak with Madrid so that he can stay here for another year. I believe the player would see this option as very positive.
"I suppose that Cuauhtemoc (Blanco, Mexican striker) will move to one of European football's greats. The economic situation of the club continues to be delicate, for that reason the sale of players is something that will again be necessary."
"The offers have arrived although some could be made specific. I believe that Ricardo, with options to go to the World Cup, is now the player who seems to have the most possibilities of being transferred, but as yet there are no offers."
