Barca are on the lookout for fresh midfield talent after Dutch duo Edgar Davids and Philip Cocu both announced they were unlikely to extend their stays at the club.
"He is a player that the coaches like a lot and when we have the chance we will take a decision on him, but we have not spoken to the president of Sevilla (Jose Maria del Nido)," stated Barca supremo Joan Laporta.
