Barcelona have recently confirmed their interest in the 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder who enjoyed a hugely impressive debut season in Spain, notching 20 league goals.
It had been reported that Sevilla would do business with the Catalan giants if a sizeable offer was lodged, but Del Nido claims he has no intention of cashing in on the player.
Baptista's buy-out clause stands at é¼36 million (£25 million) and the Sevilla supremo is adamant that the South American will only move on if that figure is matched.
"Baptista is going to be playing with us next season," Del Nido declared.
"Baptista is not for sale. Whoever wants him will have to play his buy-out clause.
"I'm not worried that someone might come and pay it because I have spoken to him and we know he is happy in Seville."
