Ludovic Giuly says Barca need to keep calm and finish the job after beating Milan.
Barcelona hero Ludovic Giuly has called on his team-mates to keep calm and finish the job at Camp Nou after his strike secured a 1-0 win over Milan in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg.
The French international latched onto a beautiful pass from Ronaldinho to rifle a bouncing ball past Dida just before the hour mark to give Frank Rijkaard's side a crucial advantage as they eye a place in the final on May 17.
With half the job done Barca will be looking to close out the tie at Camp Nou on April 26, and Giuly has urged Los Cules to keep their composure as they deal with a potential Milan backlash.
The former Monaco man also praised World Player of the Year Ronaldinho for the incisive pass that handed him the opportunity to open the scoring.
"Ronnie passed me the perfect ball. I attempted a shot from the left, the ball went in, so much the better!" said a jubilant Giuly.
"Now we've got one foot in the final, we have to remain cool and work hard to try and go all the way."
Dutch midfielder Mark van Bommel also echoed his team-mate's sentiments as he emphasised that Milan could yet shock the Catalans and make their second final in a row.
"It is a very good win for us but it isn't over," van Bommel told Sky Sports.
"We have another game in Barcelona, but we played very concentrated, very organised, when you saw the match it was deserved and a fantastic goal from Ludovic Giuly.
"We haven't played the second leg so it wouldn't be easy because if they score we get extra time.
"We hope we can go through and this one was a very good result for us and gives us a boost."
