Although everyone's attention is on Russia, with the knockout stage of the World Cup about to get underway, that doesn't mean teams aren't scheming and planning their latest moves. Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the European media to round up the latest transfer news and big stories.
Manchester United have made an offer for Lyon's Nabil Fekir. The Liverpool transfer target, who seemed very close to joining the Anfield side, has emerged as a target for Mourinho. The Reds want to use Fekir's reported failed medical to knock the French international's price down by €5million, opening the door for United. (Le Progres)
After being heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele is also wanted by Manchester City, AS Roma, Arsenal and Liverpool. (Le Progres)
Also linked with Manchester City and Chelsea, Manchester United continue to show interest in Leonardo Bonucci. The Italian centre-back only joined AC Milan last summer, but their ban from European competition could see key players move on and there's no guarantee he will stay at Milan. (Gazzetta dello Sport)
Known as a Manchester United transfer target, there are fears Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam has fractured his kneecap for a second time. The player is set to undergo scans. (Radio CRC)
After another loan spell, this time with Spartak Moscow, Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic will return to Serie A, joining Fiorentina on a year-long deal. He previously played with Milan during the 2016/17 campaign. This time, there will be an option to buy in the deal for the 23-year-old. (Sportitalia)
With Lazio valuing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic at over €100million, any deal was going to be tough this summer, however, Juventus have been given an advantage in signing the Serbian midfielder, with super-agent Jorge Mendes getting involved. He recently helped the Old Lady sign Joao Cancelo from Valencia and with the player's preference to stay in Italy, the Manchester United transfer target could be Turin-bound. (Tuttosport)
Barcelona are interested in Manchester United transfer target Willian. The Chelsea player had been linked with former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, but the Brazilian's entourage have been in contact with the Catalan club for two weeks. (Mundo Deportivo)
Arsenal offered €30million for Boca Juniors young star Cristian Pavon back in January and the Gunners remain the most interested in the 22-year-old, although the Argentine club expect more offers on the back of his World Cup performances. (AS)
Soon to be installed as the new boss at Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti has his sights on making Karim Benzema one of his first signings at the club. However, the Spanish giants will demand around €50million for the 30-year-old French striker. (AS)
Regarded as a Barcelona transfer target for some time, Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet will tell his current club he wants to move to the Nou Camp this summer. After returning from holiday, he should announce his decision this weekend and Barca will exceed his €30million release clause to guarantee a swift deal. (Sport)
Everton have bid €18million in the hopes of signing Croatian defender Domagoj Vida from Besiktas. The Turkish club are considering the bid, but it is also believed Leicester City are keen on the 29-year-old. (A Spor)
