The 33-year-old escaped unpunished for the incident during the game on January 2, after the referee failed to spot his infringement, but after reviewing video evidence the Committee have imposed the ban.
In a statement from the Committee, Alfaro's actions were clearly outlined.
"After releasing the ball and suffering a tackle from the Real Madrid player, he looked downwards and with his left foot stood on the opponent," read the statement, whilst qualifying the incident as "aggression against another footballer."
Sevilla are still hopeful off seeing the ban reduced, after claiming more serious incidents have gone unpunished by the Committee.
A club spokesperson said: "Last season and this there have been incidents in other matches of a more serious nature than of the present (Alfaro) one where the Committee has not taken any disciplinary action at all."
