Baptista's future at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan has been called into question after talks over a new contract stalled.
'The Beast' is already under contract at the club until 2008, but Sevilla are keen to offer him an improved deal.
However, the 23-year-old has spoken of his happiness in Sevilla and claims he has no intention of leaving.
"I am very calm," he declared. "I am very happy at Sevilla and I am going to keep on working very hard.
"I am very happy as well because I am playing in a team that is currently in the second position in the league.
"To have the chance to play in the Champions League would be a very important thing, and if we keep on working in the way we have done it until now I think that we can reach that goal.
"At the moment we are in the second position so if we lose two games we would be out of the Uefa Cup.
"There are many games left to be played yet in La Liga so we have to keep on working very hard."
