The Brazilian striker has acclimatised superbly to life in La Liga since his move from Sao Paulo in 2003 and was on hand to deny the Spanish giants in the 89th minute.
The draw meant that Barca wrapped up the title with their draw against Levante, and Baptista was delighted to achieve his landmark strike against Los Merengues.
"I am happy for these, one point against Real has great validity and in the last minute," said Baptista.
"50 goals in two seasons in an interesting number and demonstrates that I have adapted perfectly to Spanish football."
The 23-year-old, nicknamed 'The Beast', has garnered much acclaim for his performances in Spain, and has been linked with moves to Barcelona, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United in the past.
Baptista was reluctant to be drawn on his future with Sevilla, although did admit that there was interest in his services.
"I have a contract with Sevilla but I know that other European clubs are demanded by me."
