Sevilla defeated Deportivo La Coruna 3-0 at El Riazor in the first leg of the second Copa del Rey semi-final.
The damage was done early on by Juande Ramos's team, with the visitors 2-0 up inside 15 minutes.
Former Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute was amongst the goals once more with the 12th minute opener.
The lead was doubled three minutes later by midfielder Jesus Navas and Luis Fabiano's 90th minute penalty put the result, and probably the semi-final as well, beyond doubt.
The winners of this tie will likely face Barcelona, who were 5-2 victors over Getafe on Wednesday.
